Reach Academy Elementary is a K–5 school in Oakland Unified, in Oakland, California, with 425 students. Its latest results are below district and state averages in every tested subject: 16% of students were proficient in English language arts (ELA), 11% in math, and 9% in science, compared with district averages of 34%, 28%, and 27%, and state averages of 49%, 38%, and 36%. The most important finding is that Reach’s proficiency remains substantially below both the district and state in all three subjects.
