Clover Flat Elementary is a 190-student school serving grades K–6 in Boulevard, California. Its clearest concern is chronic absenteeism: 42% of students were chronically absent in 2025–2026, compared with 20% in Mountain Empire Unified and 18% statewide. The school’s rate was also higher than Potrero Elementary’s 34% and Campo Elementary’s 30%, and it rose 11 points from 2021–2022.
