TownGate Elementary serves 685 students in grades K–5 in Moreno Valley, within Moreno Valley Unified. Its 2025–26 results show a mixed picture: all-grades proficiency was 33% in English language arts (ELA), 22% in math and 29% in science, with the school below state results in all three subjects. Its clearest strength is science, where it does better than nearby schools and the district.
