Summary

Lower Lake Elementary serves 743 students in kindergarten through sixth grade in Lower Lake, within Konocti Unified. In 2025–26, 22% of students were proficient in English language arts (ELA), 12% in math and 12% in science—below California’s rates in all three subjects. The central concern is that the gap with the state widened in every tested subject from 2022–23 to 2025–26: by 28 percentage points in ELA, 27 in math and 24 in science.

ELA is a relative strength locally, while math is the clearest weakness against nearby schools.
