Innovations Academy is a small K–12 alternative school in Rancho Cordova, serving 113 students in Folsom-Cordova Unified. Its latest all-grade results were below state and district levels in English language arts (ELA), math and science; the clearest concern is math, where 17% of students were proficient, compared with 49% in the district and 38% statewide. That means the school trailed the district by 32 percentage points and the state by 21 points, its largest shortfall in any of the three subjects.
