Valle del Sol Elementary is a K–6 school in Coachella, California, serving 649 students in the Coachella Valley Unified area. In 2025–2026, its students had higher proficiency rates than the district in English language arts (ELA), math, and science, while remaining below state results in all three. Most importantly, Valle del Sol is one of the stronger nearby same-district schools, especially in math and science, even though it still trails the state.

Math is the school’s clearest relative strength: 32% of students were proficient, compared with 20% districtwide and 38% statewide; Valle del Sol ranked second among eight nearby same-district K–6 schools. Science proficiency was 21%, above the district’s 16% but below the state’s 36%, also ranking second locally.
