Citrus Avenue Elementary serves 383 students in grades K–5 in Chico, within Chico Unified. Its biggest concern is that 2025–2026 proficiency was below both the state and district in all three tested subjects: 32% in English language arts (ELA), 25% in math and 22% in science. No subject stands out as an academic strength in these results.
