Schools in ZIP code 95928 include 11 schools—from six elementary schools to middle, high and alternative schools—serving grades K–12 and ranging from 20 students at Butte County Community to 916 at CORE Butte Charter. Results vary substantially from school to school, and Parkview Elementary is the clearest broad academic standout in the latest reported results.
In 2025–2026, Parkview led the seven schools with results in all three subjects, with 64% in ELA, 59% in math and 64% in science—about 15, 21 and 28 percentage points above the state, respectively.
