Justin Garza High is a grades 9–12 school in Fresno’s Central Unified, serving 2,095 students. Its academic results are uneven: English language arts (ELA) is a standout, math trails state results, and science is near the state average. Graduation is high, but chronic absenteeism has risen sharply. The most pressing concern alongside strong completion rates is that chronic absenteeism reached 31% in 2025–2026, up 10 percentage points from the year before.

The school is absolutely beautiful such a shame their Girls soccer frosh team has such horrible sportsmanship hopefully their coaches can correct it before they get a bad reputation in the district. After winning their game they began to yell racist and homophobic slurs at the opposite team while their coach did absolutely nothing about it. I do have to say their athletic trainer was absolutely amazing and very professional. Close Quote
