ZIP code 93703 has 11 schools: five elementary schools, one middle school and five high schools, serving families across different grade levels and school types. In 2025–2026, the reported school averages were below state results in all three subjects: ELA was 44% versus 49% statewide, mathematics 24% versus 38%, and science 21% versus 36%. The most important finding is that results vary widely from school to school, so the area-wide averages do not capture the very different results families may find at individual schools.

Career Technical Education Charter stands out across subjects, leading reported schools in mathematics at 45% and science at 58%, and scoring 67% in ELA; those results are 7, 22 and 18 percentage points above state results, respectively. Phillip J Patino School of Entrepreneurship leads ELA at 79%, 30 points above state, and reports a 100% graduation rate, but its mathematics score is 12%, 27 points below state. Dewolf Continuation High has the lowest reported results in all three subjects—about 5% in each—and is 44 points below state in ELA, 33 in mathematics and 31 in science. Fulton’s 2025–2026 test scores are suppressed, so its results are unknown.

Scores changed unevenly between 2024–2025 and 2025–2026: the 10 schools with reported results gained 2 points on average in ELA, 1 in mathematics and 2 in science; state results gained less than 1, 1 and 3 points, respectively. Wishon Elementary and Norseman Elementary illustrate how schools with similar reported income measures can have different results: all five elementary schools were 93%–96% free/reduced lunch eligible in 2024–2025, while Wishon’s ELA score was 48% and Norseman’s 29%.
