Peabody Charter is a K–6 elementary school in Santa Barbara, serving 750 students in the Santa Barbara Unified area. In 2025–26, its proficiency rates were above both state and district results in English language arts (ELA), math, and science. Its clearest distinction is that it led the 10 nearby schools in ELA and math while outperforming the state and district in all three subjects.

Academics are strongest in math: 66% of students were proficient, 27 percentage points above the state and 22 above the district; the school’s ELA rate was 67%, 17 points above the state and 13 above the district.
