Kohler Tk-8 is a K–8 school in North Highlands, serving 400 students in the Twin Rivers Unified area. In 2025–26, its proficiency rates were below the state and district in English language arts (ELA), math and science. Math is the clearest concern: just 15% of students met proficiency, the lowest of the three subjects.
Compared with nearby schools, Kohler’s strongest subject is ELA and its weakest is math.
