Outside Creek Elementary

The Outside Creek area has one listed K–8 school, Outside Creek Elementary, with 125 students; 2025–26 grade-level results are reported for grades 3–7 in English language arts (ELA) and math, and grade 5 in science. Because only one school is listed, local school-to-school comparisons are not possible. In all-grade results, proficiency was 61% in ELA, 44% in math and 38% in science, compared with 49%, 38% and 36% statewide, respectively. SchoolDigger ranks the school 205th of 968 (79th percentile, four stars); its ranking history also shows improvement, from the 42nd percentile and two stars in 2023–24 to the 70th percentile and three stars in 2025–26. Context measures include a 26:1 student–teacher ratio and 54% free/reduced lunch eligible in 2024–25. Chronic absenteeism was 23% in 2025–26, 5 percentage points higher than the state’s 18%.
