Summary:

Jurupa Unified includes 24 schools: 17 elementary, 3 middle and 4 high schools, serving families across a mix of school levels in the district. The 2025–26 school averages were 29% proficient in English language arts (ELA), 20% in math and 17% in science, compared with state results of 49%, 38% and 36%. The most important finding is that results are both well below state levels on average and widely different from school to school.

Patriot High led all listed schools in ELA at 46%, while Camino Real Elementary led in math at 37% and had the highest elementary ELA result at 44%. Sky Country Elementary led in science at 32%. Each leader was still below its state comparison: by 3 percentage points in ELA, 1 point in math and 4 points in science. At the bottom, Nueva Vista Continuation High had 4% in ELA, 2% in math and 2% in science; the top-to-bottom spreads were 42, 36 and 29 points, respectively. SchoolDigger ranks also vary: Camino Real is at the 48th percentile among California elementary schools, Patriot at the 38th among high schools and Nueva Vista at the 4th.

Average proficiency rose from 2024–25 to 2025–26 by about 1 percentage point in each subject: ELA increased 1 point, math 1 point and science 1 point. ELA and math gaps to the state narrowed slightly, while the science gap widened from 17 to 19 points; individual schools had mixed results, including Camino Real’s 10-point math gain and Indian Hills Elementary’s 19-point science decline. Context varies, too: student–teacher ratios range from 13.2 at Nueva Vista to 24.5 at Camino Real, while the reported low-income measure, free/reduced lunch eligible (sy 2024–25), ranges from 52% at Del Sol Academy to 91% at Troth Street Elementary. These figures are context, not explanations of school results. All-grades comparisons are not perfectly like-for-like across different grade spans, and Nueva Vista is a continuation school rather than a comprehensive high school.
