Inglewood Unified has three high schools serving grades 9–12, with enrollments from 68 to 757 students. In 2025–26, the schools’ equal-school averages were 42% proficient in ELA, 21% in math, and 21% in science, compared with California’s 49%, 38%, and 36%. The clearest area-wide takeaway is that results are below state levels in all three subjects, with the smallest gap in ELA.
City Honors International Preparatory High is the academic leader: 73% were proficient in ELA and 48% in math, respectively 47 and 40 percentage points above the average of the other two schools. Attendance is another key difference: chronic absenteeism was 19% at City Honors, 51% at Inglewood High, and 68% at Continuation, versus 18% statewide. The 2024–25 measure was free/reduced lunch eligible (FRL): 82% at City Honors, 82% at Continuation, and 92% at Inglewood High; these figures are context, not an explanation of results. Continuation serves 68 students, and no 2025–26 graduation rate is reported for it.
