Summary:

High Schools in ZIP code 85210 include six schools, with enrollments ranging from 51 to 937; the three Heritage schools with reported scores serve grades 6–12 or 7–12. Their 2025–26 results show a consistent ELA advantage over the state, but a much wider spread in math. The clearest takeaway is that Heritage Academy in Mesa leads the reported schools, while math results vary substantially from school to school.

Heritage Academy (Mesa) is the top overall performer: 66% of students met the all-grades ELA standard and 52% met the math standard, compared with 58% and 35% at the next-highest schools. Mesa’s results are 25 points above the state in ELA and 19 points above in math. Heritage Academy Maricopa stands out in 11th-grade science, scoring 42% against 19% statewide. At the other end of the math results, Heritage Academy Laveen scores 25% in all-grades math, 8 points below the state, and 18% in 8th-grade math, 12 points below. East Valley Academy has a separate outcome concern: its graduation rate is 21%, compared with 80% statewide and 85% for the Mesa Unified District.

SchoolDigger’s statewide percentile rankings rose over the three reported years for all three Heritage schools, though not in a straight line: Maricopa moved from 79 to 84, Mesa from 93 to 96 after dipping to 87, and Laveen from 70 to 75. These are ranking changes, not changes in test proficiency. Student-teacher ratios are nearly identical—18.7 at Maricopa, 18.9 at Mesa, and 19.0 at Laveen—even though their all-grades math scores span 27 points, so the ratios do not distinguish their results. School scores are suppressed for East Valley Academy, Paul Revere Academy, and Pinnacle Online - WMCB, so the test-score comparisons cover only the three Heritage schools with reported results.
