Summary

Heritage Academy is a 7–12 school in Mesa, Arizona, serving 778 students in the local community. Its 2025–26 results were strong overall: across grades, 66% of students were proficient in English Language Arts (ELA) and 52% in math. The clearest standout is its 11th-grade performance: 82% were proficient in ELA and 70% in math, compared with 30% and 24% at Mesa High School and 25% and 17% at Westwood High School.

ELA is Heritage’s strongest tested subject against the state and district, while math is also above both. Across grades, ELA proficiency was 25 points above Arizona and 4 points above the district; math was 19 points above the state and 3 points above the district. Grade 11 science was more mixed: its 37% proficiency rate in 2024–25 was 18 points above the state and equal to the district, and ahead of Mesa High’s 8% and Westwood’s 12%.
