Summary

Redfield Elementary School serves 420 students in prekindergarten through grade 6 in Scottsdale, within the Scottsdale Unified District. Its 2025–2026 proficiency rates were above Arizona’s in both English language arts (ELA) and math, but below the district’s. The central concern is math: Redfield had the lowest all-grades math result among 10 nearby schools, and its third- and fourth-grade results were also well behind local peers.

Redfield’s strongest comparison is with the state: it scored 18 percentage points above Arizona in both ELA and math, and 19 points above the state in fifth-grade science. But it fell short of district rates in all three subjects: 59% in ELA versus 61%, 51% in math versus 56%, and 53% in science versus 55%.
