Center for Academic Success #5 - Sierra Vista K-8 serves 360 students in kindergarten through eighth grade in Sierra Vista, Arizona, where nearby schools include elementary and middle schools. Its results vary sharply by subject: fifth-grade science stands out, while schoolwide math proficiency is low compared with local and statewide benchmarks. The clearest concern is math: 24% of students were proficient in 2025–26, versus 33% statewide, 29% in the Center for Academic Success Inc. district, and an average of 34% at nine nearby schools.

Fifth-grade science is the school’s strongest result against its benchmarks: in 2024–25, 45% were proficient, 11 points above the state and district, and tied for the highest score among six nearby schools reporting results. The school’s 2024–25 student–teacher ratio was 21.1, the highest among nine nearby schools reporting a ratio; their average was 16.2. Its free/reduced-lunch rate was 65% in 2022–23, a contextual figure with no comparable nearby rates supplied. SchoolDigger’s ranking for White students indicates lower relative standing for that group: the school ranked at the 15th percentile in 2024–25, compared with the 48th percentile overall. For Military Connected Students, its standing rose sharply, from the 25th percentile in 2020–21 to the 90th in 2022–23, while its overall ranking rose from the 57th to the 75th percentile.
