The Tolleson Union High School District has seven high schools serving grades 9–12, with a combined enrollment of 13,931. Results vary sharply by school: University High School is far ahead, while the other six schools have much lower proficiency. Excluding University, those six average 20% proficiency in ELA, 18% in math, and 9% in science, compared with state results of 41%, 33%, and 19%.
