Summary:

Laveen Elementary District has nine elementary schools serving PK–8. Across the schools, average results are 38% in English language arts (ELA) and 31% in math, compared with 41% and 33% statewide. Those averages mask a substantial difference between schools: Vista Del Sur Accelerated Academy is far ahead of the other eight schools, making individual school results much more informative than the district-wide picture.

Vista Del Sur Accelerated Academy leads the district with 79% proficiency in ELA and 69% in math, and its results are 38 and 36 points above the state, respectively. The other eight schools average 33% in ELA and 27% in math. Paseo Pointe Dual Language Academy is the next-strongest overall, at 54% in ELA and 40% in math, both above state results. Laveen Leadership Academy at Cheatham Farms has the lowest results, 20% in ELA and 12% in math—21 points below the state in each. Trailside Point Performing Arts Academy is also near the bottom, at 25% and 22%, and has the lowest reported grade-eight science result. Vista’s lead extends across all six reported AASA grades in both subjects.

SchoolDigger’s average statewide percentile ranking rose from 36 in 2023–24 to 38 in 2025–26, but schools moved in different directions: Maurice C. Cash Elementary School gained 13 percentile points, while Leadership Academy fell 8 and Trailside fell 7. These rankings reflect relative standing, not a year-by-year series of test-score changes. Student–teacher ratios also do not neatly match results: Laveen Elementary School has the lowest listed ratio, 15, with results of 32% in ELA and 27% in math; Rogers Ranch STEM Academy has the highest ratio, 20.6, and results of 36% and 27%. Free/reduced-lunch rates are unavailable for these schools.
