Hale County High School is a small, rural high school in Moundville, AL, serving 354 students in grades 9-12 within the Hale County school district.

The most striking thing about Hale County High School is the contrast between its strong student engagement and its academic test scores. On one hand, the school shines when it comes to keeping students on track: the graduation rate is an impressive 94.6%, higher than the state average of 91.5%, and only 6% of students are chronically absent—less than half the state average.
