Open Quote This school gets a very poor rating due to the Principal and school staff allowing bullying and very inadequate teachers. The teachers do not communicate with you about your child’s status. For example, if your child is behind...they won’t tell you until weeks later when it is too late to get your child the help they need to get caught up. When you, the parent, try to initiate communication with teachers they treat you as if you’re a nuisance. I have compared my experiences at Madison with other parents and they have the same bad experience......very poor teacher rating and very poor safety rating (bullying). It is a newer building and the school grounds are nice...but I transferred my child to a school where the building is not as new but the teachers and school staff are spectacular (Monroe Middle School). I believe the reason why student behavior is so bad at North Eugene High School (the feeder school for Madison) is because Madison does nothing to manage behavior (bullying) while the kids are at Madison....so the behavior continues into high school.
