Roosevelt is an amazing school. My daughter was feeling very nervous for her first day, but then her house adviser and her WEB leader called. The hose program is excellent: each student has a teacher adviser that helps them, looks out for them, and if needed, talks to the students teachers and punishes them. The WEB program is also helpful- each sixth grader is assigned an eighth grader who will greet them and show them around an d play games with them on the first day. You also hear a lot about bullying in middle school: Roosevelt has created a program called STOP to help end that and there has been NO bullying reports since last June (yay!)Roosevelt also has amazing teachers and a lot of choice in classes: each student gets tow electives per trimester. If the student does not enjoy their elective, they can put themselves on a waiting list for one they would prefer more. Overall, I think Roosevelt is a five-star middle school. Close Quote
