Robinswood Middle consistently underperforms compared to the Orange County and Florida state averages across various standardized tests, including FAST (English Language Arts and Math) and End-of-Course (EOC) exams. For example, in the 2024-2025 school year, Robinswood's proficiency rates were significantly lower than the district and state in FAST ELA (6th grade: 42% vs. 59% and 60%, 7th grade: 32% vs. 55% and 57%, 8th grade: 34% vs. 53% and 55%) and FAST Math (6th grade: 28% vs. 60% and 60%, 7th grade: 23% vs. 39% and 50%, 8th grade: 41% vs. 63% and 57%). Additionally, Robinswood Middle has consistently high chronic absenteeism rates, ranging from 30.9% to 35.8% over the past few years, significantly higher than the state average. The school also has a high percentage of students receiving free or reduced-price lunch, ranging from 69.83% to 70.65% over the past few years, indicating a high level of economic disadvantage among the student population.

When comparing Robinswood Middle to the nearby College Park Middle, Lockhart Middle, and Gotha Middle, which are also public magnet schools in the same district, it becomes evident that Robinswood underperforms academically. Addressing the root causes of chronic absenteeism and providing additional resources to support the school's economically disadvantaged student population may be key focus areas for improvement.

Open Quote Terrible Terrible Terrible School. Early this year a student brought a gun to school and the principal kept it hidden from the parents. There have been cheating allegations on the FSA test and bullying and fights happen daily. Just type Robinswood Middle School into your search engine and see what comes up. Close Quote

Open Quote It's an okay school, not the BEST but it's also not the worst. My actual rating is 3.75. Close Quote

Open Quote There are a few children that belong in juvenile detention or some other type of secondary school. Bullying is rampant, meaning the incoming 6th graders do not stand a chance. Then there's faculty, not all, that are more concerned with their weaves and the latest fashion trends, than the welfare of the students. Everything rises and falls with Leadership and the orange county school district may want to reassess the leadership and faculty at Robinswood Middle School Close Quote
