Snowy Range Academy is a 260-student K–8 school in Laramie, in Albany County School District #1. In 2025–26, its results were above Wyoming’s average in every tested grade and subject, and SchoolDigger ranked it 13th of 148 schools statewide (91st percentile, five stars). Its clearest academic standout is eighth-grade science: 91% of students were proficient, 43 points above the state average.

Science is also its biggest advantage over the district: fourth- and eighth-grade proficiency averaged 83%, compared with 65% for the district and 52% statewide. Fourth-grade science was 74%, the highest among nearby schools with results reported; eighth-grade science was 91%. In grades 3–5, the school also led nearby schools in math, averaging 81% versus 64%; its 69% ELA average was second, behind Indian Paintbrush Elementary. Fifth grade is a relative weak spot: both ELA and math were 69%, below district averages of 73% and 74%, respectively, though above state averages of 61% for both subjects.
