Wyeville Elementary is a small, rural K–5 school in Wyeville, Wisconsin (population roughly 500), serving 98 students as one of the outlying elementary buildings of the Tomah Area School District, about 5–9 miles from its nearest same-district peers.

Parents should know that Wyeville is the smallest of the district's graded elementaries and currently ranks 797th of 1,039 Wisconsin schools (23rd percentile, 1 star) — the lowest of Tomah's seven ranked elementaries, below Warrens Elementary, Camp Douglas Elementary, La Grange Elementary, Miller Elementary, and Lemonweir Elementary. Grade 3 math (56.25% proficient) is the only tested area where Wyeville beats the state (54.75%), and grade 4 social studies averages 62.4% — close to the state's 63.0% and above the district's 57.2%. Reading and upper-grade math are the weak spots: grade 5 ELA was 6.67% and grade 5 math 20% in 2025–26, though the same small group of students has struggled since third grade, so this reflects roughly one cohort rather than a school-wide fifth-grade problem. Low-income students, about 57% of enrollment, slid from the 42nd percentile to the 14th. Tomah Area Montessori School (81st percentile) shows what is possible locally, but it serves a different, self-selected population and is not a like-for-like comparison.
