Thorp High is a small public high school in Thorp, WI, serving grades 9–12 with 181 students as part of the Thorp School District in a rural community where economic need has been rising.

Families will see a school with strong completion and attendance but uneven academics. Thorp High’s 2024–25 graduation rate was 97.5%, its dropout rate was 0.5%, and chronic absenteeism was 6.9%, all better than Wisconsin’s averages and notably better than Cadott High, Greenwood High, and Owen-Withee High on absenteeism. Social studies is a clear bright spot: 57.69% of 10th graders were proficient in 2025–26, above the state’s 48.25% and higher than Cadott High, Stanley-Boyd High, Gilman High, Owen-Withee High, and Greenwood High.
