Summary

Eisenhower Elementary is a public elementary school in Green Bay, Wisconsin, serving 459 students in grades PK-5. The school is part of the Green Bay Area Public School District, which is ranked 368 out of 426 districts in the state.

Eisenhower Elementary consistently ranks in the bottom 10% of Wisconsin elementary schools, with significantly below-average performance on the Forward Exam across all grade levels and subject areas. The school has a high rate of chronic absenteeism, ranging from 17.7% to 31.3% over the past three years, much higher than the district and state averages. However, the school has a relatively low student-teacher ratio, suggesting that the allocation and utilization of resources may need to be examined.

When compared to nearby schools in the district, Eisenhower Elementary stands out as a low-performing outlier. Schools like Aldo Leopold Community School and Webster Elementary significantly outperform Eisenhower in academic achievement, while other schools like Wilder Elementary and Nicolet Elementary struggle with similar challenges. This contrast within the same district suggests that there may be opportunities for Eisenhower Elementary to learn from the practices and strategies employed by the higher-performing schools.

Open Quote Constant graffiti issues, beer bottles and other alcoholic paraphernelia scattered on the playground. Playground supervision is next to non-existant children are constantly running into the street to get kick balls, etc. Principal is sadly misleading this school. Even though she came from Red Smith which is highly recommended, she apparently gave up on the children of Eisenhower. This school needs a principal that will tighten up the ship and get these children on the right path. Close Quote
