Argyle High is a small, rural public high school serving grades 9–12 in Argyle, Wisconsin, a village in Lafayette County, with just 85 students — the second-smallest school in its regional comparison group. It is the high school of the Argyle School District.

Argyle's headline story is a one-year turnaround: its statewide rank climbed from 330th of 431 (23rd percentile) in 2024–25 to 95th of 533 (82nd percentile, 4 stars) in 2025–26, the largest single-year gain among the ten area schools reviewed. Improvement was broad rather than confined to one group — male students ranked at the 86th percentile and low-income students at the 81st, essentially matching the school overall, with no visible economic achievement gap in current results.
