Ithaca School District is a small, single-campus district in Wisconsin with three schools serving 319 students in total: Ithaca Elementary (PK–5, 145 students), Ithaca Middle (6–8, 69 students), and Ithaca High (9–12, 105 students), all sharing one address. As a district it ranks 323rd of 432 in Wisconsin — about the 25th percentile with 1 star — though the schools differ: Ithaca High and Ithaca Middle each earn 2 stars, while Ithaca Elementary earns 1 star.

Ithaca High is the strongest performer, ranking 285th of 533 (47th percentile) with 2 stars for three straight years. Its graduation rate is 91.4%, close to the state's 92.0%, and its dropout rate is 0.0%, better than the state's 1.1%. It beats the state in 10th grade Social Studies and ACT English Language Arts, but trails in ACT Mathematics and especially ACT Science at 28.57% versus 43.2% — a gap that has persisted for two years. Ithaca Middle is the most improved school, rising from the 28th and 29th percentiles to the 45th and moving from 1 star to 2 stars on the strength of 8th grade Social Studies and Science. Its grades 7–8 English Language Arts is still below state, and it has the district's smallest classes at a 9.5 student-teacher ratio.

Attendance is the clearest split. Ithaca Elementary has the highest poverty rate (48.97% free/reduced lunch) but the lowest chronic absenteeism at 12.3%, well below the district's 20.7% and the state's 17.3%. Ithaca Middle and Ithaca High, despite lower poverty rates, have far higher chronic absenteeism at 26.5% and 27.7%. Ithaca High also spends the most per student at $21,748, about a third more than Ithaca Elementary's $16,418. At Ithaca Elementary, 4th grade ELA, Social Studies, and Science beat the state, but 3rd and 5th grade ELA and math in all tested grades fall below it. With only 319 students district-wide, year-to-year swings deserve caution, though the attendance gap and the high school science gap look persistent.
