Gillett Middle School stands out as the top performer in the district, ranking 294 out of 628 Wisconsin middle schools in 2024-2025 and earning a 4-star rating from SchoolDigger in 2022-2023. The school also excelled on the Forward Exam, with over 65% of 8th graders proficient or better in Social Studies and Science. In contrast, Gillett Elementary has seen a significant decline in its statewide ranking, dropping from 351 out of 1,067 schools in 2022-2023 to 769 out of 1,061 schools in 2023-2024, and its performance on the Forward Exam has also declined across multiple grade levels and subject areas.
