Cumberland School District in northwestern Wisconsin has just one middle school, Cumberland Middle, which serves grades 5 through 8 to 256 students at 980 8th Ave in the city of Cumberland. Cumberland Middle is on a clear upswing. Average English language arts proficiency across tested grades rose from roughly 47.99% to 54.77%, and math rose from roughly 50.70% to 53.60%.
