Located near other district alternative programs, it may be a good fit for families seeking a nontraditional learning setting, but its results should be interpreted carefully because students and enrollment patterns may differ from those at conventional neighborhood schools.

Academically, the school’s 2025–2026 proficiency rates were 33.61% in English language arts, 21.55% in math, and 35.71% in science—below both district and Washington averages. Math is the clearest overall weakness, while ELA has declined substantially from 51.35% in 2022–2023. Results vary widely by grade: 4th- and 5th-grade students posted some encouraging outcomes, including 57.89% proficiency in 5th-grade ELA and 41.18% in 5th-grade math.
