Open Quote We moved from Ballard to Broadview in 2011 with our three daughters. My oldest, now a senior at Ingraham and North Seattle Running Start, chose Broadview Thomson for middle school over Whitman middle school. One year later our middle daughter started kindergarten at BT and two years later our third daughter started kindergarten at BT. WE LOVE Broadview Thompson k-8!!!! Imagine all that a kiddo experiences in a school that has over 40+ languages spoken at home. Every year the school hosts a wonderful multi-cultural celebration with a HUGE potluck from all the families. We have a full-time art and music teacher. The kids get great teaching in technology as well. Our older girls were more advanced for their grade, but the staff is excellent at differentiated learning and met their needs for more challenge. About Student-Teacher Ratio
Student/teacher ratio is calculated by dividing the total number of students by the total number of full-time equivalent teachers. Please note that a smaller student/teacher ratio does not necessarily translate to smaller class size. In some instances, schools hire teachers part time, and some teachers are hired for specialized instruction with very small class sizes. These and other factors contribute to the student/teacher ratio. Note: For private schools, Student/teacher ratio may not include Pre-Kindergarten.
