As you review the school rankings data, please be aware that some of the information from certain demographics is missing. The reason for this omission is that the data has been redacted from the source data itself due to low population samples in these specific demographic groups.

Redacting data from low population samples is a necessary step to ensure the reliability and accuracy of the results, as small sample sizes may not be representative of the broader population. Additionally, this measure helps protect the privacy of individuals belonging to these demographic groups.

Open Quote My son is in Kindergarten, he has behaveriol issues and attends their IEP program to help him manage it, they are constantly writing him up, some things I completely understand, other things not so much. My son got written up because another student was in his face (same class room, but at recess) telling him 'shut up no one cares' over and over again, the child then pushed my son when he continued talking to another student, so my son hit him back, my son got written up for assualt, the other child did not. Today he got written up for swinging on the swing the wrong way..... He is in Kindergarten.. apparently they are only allowed to face one way on the swing, even if they are riding the swing the correct way, and they are not allowed to play on the swings and twist them... I have always (growing up) spun on the swings, in every grade, at every park, and even now as an adult playing with my kids i do the same thing. They are putting minor things like this into my sons permanant record, as if he doesnt get into trouble enough on his own... This school is great as long as your child is EXTREMELY obediant. The standards are too high for such young children, and if they dont abide then they end up being the cause for everything, even if they didnt start the altercation. Other children will tease and taunt my son, he gets upset, hes 6, this is a natural reaction for a child, and he is written up for crying and causing a scene when he yells at them to leave him alone or runs off in anger. Because he causes such a big scene when his feelings are hurt, he gets in trouble... this school is a joke and is not catering to my son like a caring facility should. Close Quote

About Students eligible for discounted/free lunch:

The National School Lunch Program (NSLP) provides low-cost or free meals to students in U.S. public and nonprofit private schools based on household income. Those with incomes below 130% of the poverty line receive free lunch, while those between 130% and 185% qualify for reduced-price lunch. The percentage of students receiving free or reduced-price lunch serves as a marker for poverty, as it reflects the socioeconomic status of families in a given school or district. A higher FRPL rate typically indicates a higher concentration of low-income families, suggesting that the school or district may face additional challenges in providing adequate resources and support for student success.

About Student-Teacher Ratio

Student/teacher ratio is calculated by dividing the total number of students by the total number of full-time equivalent teachers. Please note that a smaller student/teacher ratio does not necessarily translate to smaller class size. In some instances, schools hire teachers part time, and some teachers are hired for specialized instruction with very small class sizes. These and other factors contribute to the student/teacher ratio. Note: For private schools, Student/teacher ratio may not include Pre-Kindergarten.
