Lincoln Elementary School is a public K–5 school in Kennewick, Washington, serving 427 students in the Kennewick School District; it is located on West 21st Avenue in an area with several other district elementary schools nearby. The school ranks in the 67th percentile statewide, placing it 376th among 1,138 Washington elementary schools, and has a 3-star rating. That makes Lincoln one of the stronger schools in its local comparison group, although it trails Ridge View Elementary School and Sage Crest Elementary School.

Academic results are a major strength. In 2025–2026, 57.55% of Lincoln students were proficient in English Language Arts, compared with 49.42% districtwide and 52.81% statewide. Math was even stronger: 55.51% were proficient, exceeding the district by 18.68 percentage points and the state by 12.40 points. Lincoln ranked third locally in ELA and second in math, behind Ridge View. Performance was strong across 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade ELA, while 3rd- and 4th-grade math results exceeded 62%. Science was more mixed: 46.38% were proficient, slightly above the district but below the state and local leaders.

Parents may want to watch the sharp 5th-grade math decline: proficiency fell to 37.68%, below both district and state results, compared with more than 62% in 3rd and 4th grade. Lincoln’s results also declined from the prior year, especially in science, although its long-term ranking has improved substantially from the 38th percentile in 2020–2021. The school’s 14.2 students-per-teacher ratio is competitive locally, and its 52.46% free-or-reduced-price-lunch rate is higher than at Ridge View and Sage Crest. Overall, Lincoln combines above-average achievement with strong subgroup effectiveness and appears to offer a solid academic foundation, with science stability and 5th-grade math as the clearest improvement priorities.
