Adams Elementary is a PK–5 school in Spokane Valley serving 376 students in the Central Valley School District, in a suburban area near several other district elementary schools. The school has made a notable turnaround, rising from the 46th percentile statewide in 2023–24 to the 76th percentile in 2025–26, when it ranked 274th out of 1,138 Washington schools and received four stars. It is now approximately fifth among 11 nearby schools, behind Summit School, Greenacres Elementary, McDonald Elementary School, and Chester Elementary School.

Academically, Adams stands out most in math. In 2025–26, 62.43% of students were proficient in math, the highest rate among nearby schools with reported all-grade results, compared with 51.2% districtwide and 43.11% statewide. Third-grade math was especially strong at 75.81%, while fifth-grade math was lower at 51.52%. ELA proficiency was 62.3%, tying McDonald Elementary School among nearby PK–5 schools and improving more than 21 percentage points since 2023–24. Science is the clearest area for improvement: Adams reached 53.03%, slightly above the state rate but below the district’s 57.22% and most higher-ranked nearby schools. Adams Elementary is a wonderful school which is part of a fabulous school district which was just ranked in the top 5% of Washington State! Amazing teachers, staff, parents, PTSA, and students make up this school. It is always a warm and inviting school when I come in. Their ASB, PTSA, and school plan many fun after school activities and programs for the students to get involved in. I am proud to say my two children are apart of this dynamic school with caring, loving teachers and staff!!! Go Adams Eagles! Close Quote
