Our Lady Of Good Counsel School

My wife and I have 4 children that have gone through OLGC. Two are in high school and 2 still at OLGC. OLGC is a great school. The teachers and parents work well together to provide a great education. The academics are rigorous. Most importantly though is the way the Catholic faith is embedded into the daily lives of our children building a foundation for a life long faith journey.

I also love the community the school fosters. The school is a big part of what makes OLGC a great faith community. As a parent, you know the your kids friends well but also their siblings and parents. It is truly a community where we all are working for and looking out for the betterment of all. It is a great place to be a kid, to know you are loved and encourage to excel. I would recommend highly recommend OLGC.

We have four children in OLGC and have experienced every grade from K through 8. It is an academically challenging, doctrinally sound, and truly caring place for a child to grow.

The facility is amazing, but what really makes it special are the staff and community. Both are welcoming and encourage everyone to get involved. You truly get what you give and are afforded the opportunity to be a part of your child's academic and social success.

The hidden secret of OLGC is its amazing middle school. I can't think of a better place to enter the teen years. The middle school teachers work together to foster continuity, faith and camaraderie among the grades.

Overall, we are so grateful to the school for all it has done for our children and family.

My children have attended the school since kindergarten. We all love it!
We love that there are two classes per grade. The amenities are great a full computer lab, Great Gym, Science lab, Art & Music room, Library and Spanish is taught to all students starting in Kindergarten.

You are part of the OLGC community which incorporates the church and CYO activities. Parents can get involved in many different committees.

I think we have all created livelong friends while we have been here.

We would not recommend OLGC school. The staffs are unfriendly and have no patience for students as well as parents. Academically is far behind Fairfax public school especially in math and science. As for discipline and caring for one another, OLGC fail to live up to the Catholic standards
