As you review the school rankings data, please be aware that some of the information from certain demographics is missing. The reason for this omission is that the data has been redacted from the source data itself due to low population samples in these specific demographic groups.

Redacting data from low population samples is a necessary step to ensure the reliability and accuracy of the results, as small sample sizes may not be representative of the broader population. Additionally, this measure helps protect the privacy of individuals belonging to these demographic groups.

Open Quote Maybe it's only me but every year I've had teacher who don't actually teach and spent the whole class yelling to make children shut up causing low grades and horrible results on tests if you are a parent go a head and send your kids here and play russian roulette with who teaches your kid of course you can change the class but the moment your child gets a bad teacher they will have that whole year be messed up I've been here for three years this is my last year and I'm glad to because I can finally leave this place Close Quote

Open Quote I believe larkspur middle school system hires only desperate staff that need work because no one that is properly educated will work there, especially assistant principal roles! its quite obvious the assistant principals have no education or clue when dealing with pre teens and pressures these kids experience on a daily basis of being bullied! If a child defends himself from a bully the victim child also gets suspended! oh if the victim child walks away, they dont get punished by assistant principals, but will have to deal with peers laughing and taunting them throughout the school year, which is worse than suspension...not to mention causing the victim students to fail their school grade. The principal staff seem to praise the bullying behavior to continue instead of correcting and resolving bullying, causing mental torture to innocent victims defending themself. Do you agree? viewers of this comment like if you agree Close Quote

About Students eligible for discounted/free lunch:

The National School Lunch Program (NSLP) provides low-cost or free meals to students in U.S. public and nonprofit private schools based on household income. Those with incomes below 130% of the poverty line receive free lunch, while those between 130% and 185% qualify for reduced-price lunch. The percentage of students receiving free or reduced-price lunch serves as a marker for poverty, as it reflects the socioeconomic status of families in a given school or district. A higher FRPL rate typically indicates a higher concentration of low-income families, suggesting that the school or district may face additional challenges in providing adequate resources and support for student success.

About Student-Teacher Ratio

Student/teacher ratio is calculated by dividing the total number of students by the total number of full-time equivalent teachers. Please note that a smaller student/teacher ratio does not necessarily translate to smaller class size. In some instances, schools hire teachers part time, and some teachers are hired for specialized instruction with very small class sizes. These and other factors contribute to the student/teacher ratio. Note: For private schools, Student/teacher ratio may not include Pre-Kindergarten.
