One of the most striking contrasts is how Parkside's size and funding compare to nearby schools. With 946 students, it is the largest elementary school in the immediate area, yet it also has one of the highest student-teacher ratios at 17.5 to 1—well above Harrison Road Elementary (13.8) and Courtland Elementary (14.8).
