Dominion High is a large public high school in Sterling, Virginia, serving 1,453 students in grades 9 through 12 as part of Loudoun County Public Schools, one of Virginia's top-ranked districts. What makes Dominion stand out among its neighbors is the population it serves: roughly half of its students qualify for free or reduced-price lunch, a much higher share than at Tuscarora High, Heritage High, or Rock Ridge High. Despite that, Dominion posted a 93.4% graduation rate in 2024-25, above the Virginia state average and higher than two of those same nearby schools.

My experience with Dominion High School has been great. The students come from very diverse backgrounds, yet everyone gets along. It has a small town community feel and Dr. Brewer makes it a point to know each and every student personally. He also encourages every student to be involved in after school activities such as fund raising, community service, sports, clubs, etc. He expects every student to be accountable for their own direction in life and has set up ways to achieve their goals.
