Open Quote When I enrolled my kid, I asked the counselor about enrolling him in Honors classes because he was in Honors at his previous school. I had heard great things about Fairfax County and wanted to make sure he wasn't in over his head academically. She replied, "Our goal is to have every student in Honors within 3 years." So....I did enroll him in Honors and he has skated by with straight A's. He is not challenged at all. I think he could miss an entire week and still be caught up. They are not allowed to learn new material on any religious holiday so at least once a week they just sits in class and play on their phones. They never have homework. I truly feel that when we move for the next year, my son may actually have to study at his new school. We were only renting for one year so I had determined that one year of crappy school will not make or break his life but if I had to live here more than that I would have NEVER picked this school. This school definitely caters to the lowest common denominator. Close Quote

About Student-Teacher Ratio
Student/teacher ratio is calculated by dividing the total number of students by the total number of full-time equivalent teachers. Please note that a smaller student/teacher ratio does not necessarily translate to smaller class size. In some instances, schools hire teachers part time, and some teachers are hired for specialized instruction with very small class sizes. These and other factors contribute to the student/teacher ratio. Note: For private schools, Student/teacher ratio may not include Pre-Kindergarten.
