Open Quote It's a small school where you feel a sense of community. The principal knows every child's name...every single one. We transferred from a private school and have been very impressed. Kids of all walks of life and different nationalities attend this school, which is important for my husband and I. Even the teachers are diverse. The teachers care and so does the administration. Our kids are happy, so that makes us happy. Close Quote

Open Quote Don't be mislead by the statistics, Beech Tree is a wonderful and SMALL elementary school that offers fantastic individualized instruction. Due to its small size coupled with a diverse student population that draws from a broad array of socio-economic backgrounds, student achievement statistics for the school are very misleading. About Student-Teacher Ratio
Student/teacher ratio is calculated by dividing the total number of students by the total number of full-time equivalent teachers. Please note that a smaller student/teacher ratio does not necessarily translate to smaller class size. In some instances, schools hire teachers part time, and some teachers are hired for specialized instruction with very small class sizes. These and other factors contribute to the student/teacher ratio. Note: For private schools, Student/teacher ratio may not include Pre-Kindergarten.
