West Point Public Schools is a small Virginia district serving 843 students across two schools: West Point Elementary (grades PK–5, 409 students) and West Point Middle/High (grades 6–12, 434 students), with the district ranked 20th out of 131 Virginia districts at the 85th percentile with a 4-star rating.

The clear standout is West Point Elementary, which has ranked in the 86th–90th percentile statewide for three consecutive years and achieved 88.4% average SOL proficiency in 2025–2026.
