Summary:

ZIP code 84310 has two public schools serving grades K–9: Valley School serves elementary students in kindergarten through sixth grade, while Snowcrest Junior High serves grades 7–9. Together, they enroll 818 students, and both are part of Weber District. There is no high school listed in the ZIP code.

Valley School is the stronger overall academic standout. It ranked in the 91st percentile statewide and received a five-star rating in 2025–2026, with every reported subject-and-grade result exceeding both district and state results. Its strongest performance was sixth-grade science, at 81.1% proficient, followed by fourth-grade mathematics at 74.5%. Results were also relatively consistent across grades. The main concern is attendance: chronic absenteeism was 22.7%, close to the Utah rate of 23.8% and higher than at the junior high. Mathematics performance also declined somewhat from the prior year, especially in fourth grade.

Snowcrest Junior High ranked in the 80th percentile and received four stars, making it a strong school despite a lower ranking than Valley. Its major advantage is attendance: only 10.6% of students were chronically absent, less than half Valley’s rate. Snowcrest also had excellent seventh- and ninth-grade mathematics results, with 68.4% and 71.6% proficiency, respectively, and a lower student-teacher ratio of 16.3 to 1. Performance was less even, however, with eighth-grade mathematics at 43.7% and notable declines in eighth-grade results. Overall, Valley offers stronger and more consistent academics, while Snowcrest stands out for attendance, smaller class support, and strong performance in selected grades.
