Orion Junior High is a public school in Harrisville, Utah, serving about 1,000 students in grades 7–9 as part of the Weber District near the Ogden area. The school has middle-range statewide performance, ranking 141st of 217 Utah schools, or at the 35th percentile, in 2025–26. Its results are stronger than several nearby schools but remain below local leaders.

Academically, Orion is generally ahead of most comparison schools and exceeded the district average in six of nine subject-grade assessments. Grade 9 is the school’s clearest strength: students performed above district averages in English language arts, math, and science, with 54.2% proficient in science and 50.4% in ELA. Grade 8 math is the main concern. Its 27.6% proficiency rate improved from 19.9% the prior year but remained well below the state rate of 39.3%. Orion also needs to strengthen Grade 7 ELA and science and monitor the recent decline in Grade 9 math.
