Wasatch School is a public K–6 elementary school in Salt Lake City’s central area, serving 387 students at 30 R Street as part of the Salt Lake District. For 2025–2026, it ranks 187th out of 563 Utah schools, placing it in the 67th percentile and earning three stars. That is still above the statewide midpoint, but it is a noticeable change from the school’s previous results: 43rd in 2024–2025, 31st in 2023–2024, and 19th in 2021–2022. Attendance is another important consideration. Chronic absenteeism at Wasatch School improved to 28.6% in 2024–2025, slightly better than the district’s 29.3% but above Utah’s 23.8%. It remains much higher than the rates reported at Uintah School, Dilworth School, and Bonneville School. Wasatch’s 20.3-to-1 student-teacher ratio is also not especially low compared with nearby alternatives.
