Overall, it is a moderately strong school, performing better than several nearby schools but not matching the consistency of the area’s highest-ranked schools.

The school’s strongest area is upper-grade academics. In 2025–26, Midas Creek School exceeded district results in 5th- and 6th-grade ELA, math, and science. Its 6th-grade science proficiency was 66.7%, and its 5th- and 6th-grade math results were also among the best locally. These results compare favorably with Rose Creek School, Monte Vista School, and Southland School in several grades.
