Elk Meadows School is a public elementary school in South Jordan, Utah, serving about 580 students in grades K–6 in the suburban Jordan District. The school is near several other district elementary schools, making local comparisons especially useful. In 2025–26, Elk Meadows ranked 277th of 563 Utah elementary schools, at the 51st percentile, and received three out of five stars. That is a noticeable drop from its 70th–71st percentile results during the previous two years.

Academically, Elk Meadows is a middle-performing school among nearby campuses. Its strongest area is science, where average proficiency was approximately 58.3%, above both the district and state averages; sixth-grade science was particularly strong at 69.6%. Fifth- and sixth-grade ELA and mathematics also exceeded district and state averages. The biggest concern is the early grades: third-grade proficiency was 35.2% in ELA and 34.1% in mathematics, well below comparison averages, while fourth grade was also somewhat weak. By comparison, nearby Jordan Ridge School, Jordan Hills School, Eastlake School, and Welby School ranked from the 72nd to 78th percentile and generally outperformed Elk Meadows in ELA and mathematics.
